Jennifer Young is the founder of Jennifer Young Training School, Beauty Despite Cancer, The MenopausePlus and The Menopause Million.
Prior to entering the world of wellness, Jennifer worked as an inspector for the UK’s Health & Safety Executive (HSE), the enforcing authority for the legislation that requires employers to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and others affected by their work activities.
During her 8 years in post, she was responsible for enforcement action ranging from advice to prosecution, presenting cases that she had prepared, to English Courts.
Following the prolonged use of this use of a big stick, Jennifer switched sides, becoming a consultant, expert witness and trainer to large organisations globally. Industries served include oil, construction, foundries, food and drinks manufacturers, education providers and hospitals.
More recently Jennifer has turned her attention to the plight of the menopausal, developing specialist products and services.
During the pandemic of 2020, Jennifer dusted off her occupational expertise, creating an accredited qualification in Control of Cross Infection for the spa and wellness industry.
This course was enjoyed by around ten thousand therapists across many wellness modalities.

The Jennifer Young Training School provides accredited touch qualifications enabling spa and wellness practitioners to offer specialist treatments to clients during their menopausal years.
In addition, the school pioneers accredited oncology touch therapies.
It is our mission to help cancer patients to recognise themselves and to help our therapist, salon and spa partners to provide the best possible service to those affected by cancer and to women experiencing a natural menopause.

The Menopause Million is the largest global research study into menopausal symptoms ever undertaken, it collects the big data needed to improve healthcare outcomes for women experiencing hormonal change.
Pioneered by Jennifer Young, a wellness industry leader, the project takes the form of an online questionnaire, seeking information about problems and solutions.
The questionnaire was validated, and improved, by an independent expert review. The review was carried out by the University of Birmingham (UK)
